"Nice hotel but a bit pricey"
My wife and I had not had a vacation together in eight years and wanted the perfect hotel stay. Our pick of the hotel was based solely on pictures and info on their website. The hotel and staff were great, the room less than expected. The room I saw on the website had a king poster bed, arched windows and a ceiling archway. We also paid extra for a "premiere view." What we received was a small king bed, velvet headboard, no arch and a view of a roof across the street. We also asked for a high floor of 5 and got a third floor which let us hear kids running up and down the hallways at all hours above us. Would we stay again? No. Would we recommend the hotel to friends? Yes. But with knowledge of all the above first.

"This historic Inn is a jewel amoung jewels!"
This charming Inn is located in an excellent location, only a few blocks from the district, a short walk that takes you thru the real historic St. Augustine. The Inn and its staff are extraordinarily accomodating and exceed expectations on all levels. Everything from sherry on the mantle in our room, an upscale breakfast reserved usually for 5 star Inns, to incredible staff prepared deserts served after you return from dinner out, all at no additional charge. If you are expecting ultra modern this Inn is not for you. If you value serenity, impeccable cleanliness, charm and location you won't be disappointed. "Great location, Good price"
This is an older hotel, not luxurious by any means, but for a family wanting a good rate for a convenient location, it's perfect. The trolley happens to stop right inside the hotel grounds if you want to get around St. Augustine that way. The staff is terrific and very helpful.
