Beautiful house, but significant maintenance issues
First, let me list the negative aspects since VRBO limits how much I can write in my review.
1. Garage door was broken, did not work all weekend. We had to manually open and close every time and couldnt figure out how to manually lock it.
2. There is NOT parking for 3 vehicles in front of the property, no matter what management might come back and say. 1 space in garage, 1 outside garage, and any additional have to park a LONG way from the house, out of sight
3. There is NO river access. Only views.
4. Master shower and hot water did not work the entire first night of our stay. Biggest inconvenience the whole weekend.
5. Fireplace in master bedroom does not come on, no remote, no buttons, no instructions.
6. No obvious way to turn on cafe lights on balcony.
7. Walking your dog will be like half a mile from the house before you find any grass.
After listing all of that, I will say the property manager was super nice and extremely helpful, which is the ONLY reason that I didnt give this property 1 star for broken/defective things and inaccurate listing details. But you would think that for nearly $1,000 for two nights, Vacasa could have sent someone to fix our issues the first night, since it was brought up at an early hour. This was my special needs daughter's 17th birthday trip, and I can't even put into words how disappointed we were with our stay. The house was beautiful, well maintained, and clean. But I do not see myself booking with Vacasa ever again after this stay.
