The staff is wonderful, but there were several things that weren’t in the room that were simply odd. I was attracted to staying in this hotel because it included a microwave and a refrigerator, which it did. But the lift-up cabinet door to the microwave falls down unless you hold it up, but then you have just one hand to use to operate the microwave.
It was odd to have a microwave and fridge without a single plate, mug, or bowl, no spoon, knife, or fork. Even though I’d brought my own teabags, I had to “borrow” a mug from my conference hotel. (I returned it at the end of the conference!)
Also strange is the fact that in my “superior king” room, there was just one lamp in the whole room. So, it was ok for just me, but if there had been two people staying, only one would be as to read a book.
