Embassy is remodeling and we prefer the original Embassy decor! We were in a corner suite on the 7th floor. This room had been remodeled but it had no carpet, no paintings on the wall, the window with the view had condensation so it had no view. We requested a different room even though it was considered a downgrade. Due to the remodeling, only one of the 3 elevators were operating. While going to our new room on the 3rd floor, the elevator stopped working. We were stuck in the elevator for 30 minutes. Thank God we were on the 3rd floor because we did not want to risk using the elevator again. The parking fee is too high….$25.00 per night. (especially because at a different time we were there, our vehicle was broken into). The staff, however, were Amazing! They apologized and compensated us. Their concern was sincere. We truly appreciated it.

Yes, the room was spotless, and the staff brought a stool for my wife to get into the bed. The only disappointment was breakfast only went till 9 o’clock and coming from a long plane ride, we overslept.

The pool water was nasty green and moldy looking. Hot tub was not working. In the room, we had to let the hot water run for about 10 minutes in the bathtub before we got hot water for a shower.

The bedding in the room had an unpleasant smell. I was very disappointed by the lack of a working swimming pool and jacuzzi, as this was the main criterion when choosing the hotel. There were no fresh vegetables at breakfast, which I consider an essential component of a healthy diet. The people at the reception were wonderful, and the people who prepared the omelets were also great.
