"I couldn’t not give a higher compliment for the staff other than to say that they were beyond excellent. The front desk and dining area were consistently staffed with beyond excellent works on every rotation. Very helpful, very plesant. The view from our room was beautiful. Great view of St John River and a beautiful fountain to boot."

"I NEVER right reviews but this is more than worthy. We were attending a wedding and stayed 2 nights. My family stayed in 2 rooms, 240 & 238. Both rooms had roaches! I was actually able to get a picture in room 238. My teenage kids in room 240 saw roaches in the bathroom but did not get pictures. We weren't in the rooms until late night, so i did not catch it until the last night around midnight. I did show the manager on duty the next morning the picture of roaches. I was told to contact Hotels.com. We were given a total of $50 credit from the hotel! Ridiculous! Hotels.com decided to match that, totaling $100 on a $600 expense! I spoke to the Corporate Hotels.com and they were not accommodating. They wanted to give me points, which I refused because we don't travel often and this was a special occasion. They gave me 2 options, take the points or refuse and close the case. Wow! I tried calling the manager at the hotel as well, I was always told to call at a certain time. Although, every time I called it just so happen that I missed her or she was not there. Supposedly she is the sole mage of the establishment. So when I asked to speak with someone higher up, no one is available. Very convenient for them! I'm writing this review a couple weeks later because I was hoping for a better outcome prior to me writing a review. I was told by a Hotels.com agent that roaches in the room aren't that big of a deal to escalate for a refund more than $50!"

"The staff were very nice. There was no restaurant although they did advertise one. The toilet was very wobbly. We reported it and were told they would put it on the list but they couldn't fix it now because the room would have to be closed for 5 days. The shower was VERY hard to turn on. My wife couldn't turn it on and I thought I was going to end up ripping it out of the wall. The tub stopper would not work. It stayed closed when the shower was running so the tub was filling with water when we didn't want it to. Very disappointed."

"Our second time staying and it was just as great as the first time! Host is easy to communicate with and very accommodating. House was clean and had everything we needed. We enjoyed our stay!"

"When we opened the door it felt like coming home. The home is so welcoming and comfortable. You feel like you are out in the countryside but within 15 minutes you can be eating in fine dining or have a fast burger.We spent many relaxing hours in the large screened in porch watching the water float by and wildlife entertain us. We had only one reason to contact our host, I locked us out, he answered the phone and updated our code and did not make me feel like an idiot.You will not be disappointed with this property with the exception of wishing you had booked two weeks instead of one."
