Book a hotel near Sanford L. Ziff Jewish Museum, South Beach

"Shops, restaurants, beach were all close by. The staff were so helpful and accommodating. Some of furnishing and carpet was dated. However bed was comfortable, blackout curtains for sleeping were great. The downside was the shower wouldn’t turn on. I had a time commitment and needed to have maintenance to fix shower. Front desk was great at unsuccessfully trying to turn it on (this occurred before maintenance was on duty). I was given clean towel and able to shower in a room that hadn’t yet been cleaned in order to get out on time. However, no financial compensation was made for the inconvenience the shower debacle caused me."

"The room looked nothing like the pictures on the website. There were holes in the wall, paint chipped everywhere, bathroom literally looked like someone just threw paint on the walls. There was paint on fixtures, on the toilet, the sink. The flooring had been replaced so terribly it was bubbled. Absolutely a mess of a room!!! They should be absolutely embarrassed to put anyone in this room and actually have them pay for it. The “closet” was literally plywood that was slapped w/paint so poorly that the paint had ran down the sides & dried into thick lines of paint. The headboard to the bed wasn’t even securely connected to the wall, the room chair had rips in it, the TV barely had channels we could watch, &the mini fridge was lit up all night because the light on the inside didn’t shut off when the door was shut. The smell that hit you in the face when you entered the hallway, coming and going, was repulsive. It literally took my breath away because it was so horrid! The air fresheners that were plugged in everywhere only made it worse and it didn’t mask the smell of poor cleanliness. The property manager really needs a crash course in hospitality &insuring that customers are truly taken care of. An incident happened on this property w/the elevator dropping &crashing to a stop in between floors, fire department had to extract us &others from the top of the elevator because it was not working properly &unsafe. We had to seek out the manager for communication!POOR Management!"
