"Fantastic oasis in the centre of Florence, quiet street at the front but the real winner is gardens at the back, 10-15 min walk to everything with wine windows on the way. Hotel Accademia
"Nice clean rooms with a big bathroom. AC works well, especially in this heat. Staff are wonderful. Breakfast is light but enough to fill you to start your day. No elevator, but I knew that and takes a little muscle to get a large bag up. My only complaint is the bed. It is very hard, like sleeping on a 2x4. I woke several times through the night with hip pain. We stayed 2 nights and don't think we could have tolerated many more nights of that bed. It's unfortunate because the hotel and location are great otherwise."
