For the amount I paid throughout my stay, I expected a lot more. I spent more than I usually would for two nights, and was shocked to hear I had to pay $62 + tax per night for parking at the hotel; that’s absurd. I did not see this detail outlined when booking the hotel. It took multiple hotel staff to correctly register our car with the hotel so we would be able to enter and leave their parking lot. Also, if you’re going to pay that much for parking, then at least offer continental breakfast for your guests. You have to pay extra for continental breakfast. My boyfriend and I didn’t feel taken care of, rather we felt taken advantage of. The only good thing I can say about this hotel is that it’s in a good location and the cleaning staff is diligent and keeps the rooms quite nice. Sheraton, you gotta step up your game.

The location was great. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff was excellent. Easy check in and check out. My reservation was not made correctly via the third party agent we used but the hotel made it right. The only complaint I had was that our street side room was noisy which made it a bit difficult to sleep. The staff brought us a fan which helped some.

close to activities

Pros: Closeness to things to do in the wharf area.
Cons: More comfotable waiting areas for large groups and more food areas to purchase food
Location: Hop - on -hop-off buss, wharf, shopping, lots of places to leat in a few blocks walking distance.
Our room was not ready upon arrival---three hours later we were able to check in to the room. Our room was small for 3 adults and the stool and tub were squezzzzzed in a verrrrry small room. Very difficult to move when you have mobility issues. Staff at the desk and coffee counter were very helpful. Not much room in the lobby at times with so many trying to check in and no place to store luggage for the one location was full so people were setting watching their luggage. The outside heaters were very nice just needed some where there was no smoking allowed so others might enjoy the outside. Larger parking spots the spots were so small you could hardly get the driver in let alone any passengers. LOWER prices for what was offered.

Affordable place and friendly staff

Staff was always pleasant and very helpful. Location is great for walking to attractions such as pier 39 and Ghirardelli Square. Room was very comfortable. Only complaint was table surfaces could have been wiped down a little better. Other than that I would definitely recommend this hotel!

. Too Many People Upstairs

Pros: close to everything
Cons: The maximum occupancy rules could be adhered.
The room above me had way too many people staying in it. Even security had to get involved. I asked for a pet free room and I got a room with an air filter.....

Nice hotel near the Pier, but beds are small

Pros: Outside fire pits were very nice.
Cons: Get rid of the double beds, Queens are much more comfortable. Also, bathrooms are too tight!
Location: Nice location near the popular Pier area.
During our 9 day trip through the West, this was the one and only hotel, out of 6, that had double beds instead of queen beds. All night long I felt like I was falling off. For the price we paid per night I feel there should be Queen beds. Bathroom is also extremely tight. I do like the sink vanity separated from the shower/toilet area, but it was tight! I was also surprised that what we paid for parking did not include a valet. We were asked at the main entrance if we needed help with our bags, but we were then told to park in the underground lot ourselves. On a POSITIVE note, the outside fire pits were very nice for the chilly evenings, even in July. The location was just one block from the popular Pier area. Except when you walk there, you will be asked for money by homeless people that seem to hang out right in front of the hotel. I know San Fran spends an exuberant amount of money on their homeless, but the program doesn't seem to be working. MOST IMPORTANT: we were the victims of a smash and grab while at a nearby park. We had just checked out of the hotel, so all of our luggage was in the car. When we returned to the car, 4 of the 6 bags were gone, an estimated $4,800 in personal property. The police wouldn't even come to the scene saying it happens everyday, especially to cars parked at the pier. I wish more money in San Fran was spend on security. We never once saw a police car our entire stay.
