I’m very satisfied with the Motel 6. The room was clean. The manager and staff were helpful. It’s right by the ocean. The rates are the most reasonable. I seriously hope to return year after year.

This property is nice because of access to the beach and the park. On the other hand this bed was so old it practically had two sink holes to sleep in, no blanket and no outlets to plug anything into.

Avoid this hotel, pay more

Booked 2 rooms at this hotel and somehow managed to get both rooms in terrible condition. One room (210) on the second floor has mold on the ceiling and a terrible smell of smoke in the non-smoking room. Likewise the room had no ceiling lights, only table lamps that is only hand pulled. The second room (218) had a finished ceiling but had a terribly clogged toilet. When I went to the front desk, all they did was give me a plunder and told me to unclog it myself. We requested a refund of the room and they were able to give us a handicapped room (126) which had a used towel in the bathroom. We also felt like a bug was crawling around on the bed

Staff were great, but walls were paper thin, could hear everything from the next room. Windows didn’t shut and the area is run down, with homeless people having domestics at 3am and no way to close the windows to get peace. Shower had little pressure.

Office staff accommodated safety concerns as a single female traveler. When I first arrived, I was originally assigned a room at the top floor. Upon entry to the room, I was approached by an unhoused individual who asked to use my rooms bathroom. I told him no. He still proceeded to follow me to my room. I closed the room door and the ran to the office. The man behind the office counter changed my room closer to the office. He also approached the unhoused man and had him removed from the premises.

The room was excellent for the price , it had two queen beds , then the sink, toilet with shower had where in one placed with door , so anyone could use sink without having to wait if restroom was busy. Next to the restroom, there was a master room with a king bed and it had a door for privacy, really spacious. It had two fridges . Across the streets was the beach, lovely view , you can go for morning walks. Really convenient area as it is close too most stuff, there’s a park, closed to botanical garden, and all those cool places. I was just nervous because there were a lot of people at night wondering around. I was scared , thought it would be was unsafe, but being there the two nights , it I was actually good. Will stay again.

Dont come here. I have stayed in a lot of rooms over the years and this room was absolutely the worst. They were using the room as storage for broken furniture, the shower didnt drain, towel bar feel apart just hanging a towel on it. Therewas no light, you could see right threw the curtains. When i asked for another room he said i could leave. I said there was no light so he brought a light that looks like he found in a dumbster. This was a $150 room. THE WORST

The motel was FILTHY. I booked a ground floor room but they put me on the 3rd floor, no elevator and didn't help me w/ luggage. The bed was off the frame, and sunk in the middle. When staff came to look, they lifted the bed skirt to reveal a BLOOD SOAKED box spring! I was horrified but could not cancel the reservations I had made through Expedia. There was NO COFFEE MAKER, no microwave, and no toiletries, save for bar soap. I was told the office was open at 6am for people to get coffee and use microwave, but each time I went down at or after 6 It was CLOSED, even when I came at 7am. I had to drag myself outside in the dark, half asleep, to ring the doorbell more than once, only to be told to come back in 20 minutes! The whole experience was horrible and I want my money back. I can provide photos of what I saw, especially the BLOOD SOAKED BOX SPRING! I was down from Canada to attend my niece's funeral, and had to return to Motel 6 a 2nd time. The guy at the desk promised he would put me on the ground floor the 2nd time, but when I arrived I was put on the 2nd floor, and again had to lug my own baggage by myself. I am 68 yrs and would have appreciated some help. I would appreciate a REFUND.
