Grand Hotel Tijuana
"These are attractive and less than ten year old buildings. Inside, they're fine. The staff is courteous and I have no complaints. I do have a complaint that the exterior windows look like they have not been washed in a decade. This is a common problem in Mexico, one of my favorite countries. Owners build things, and then seem to only take money out. They don't seem to understand that maintenance is as important for a property as it is for your body. If you don't take care of yourself you will go downhill fast. I could see the dirt on the windows from FIVE miles away. This is inexcusable. The buildings are not architecturally complicated. They don't have balconies or odd angles that would complicate window cleaning. It's a couple of square buildings with straight sides. As single washer should be able to do an entire row or two in a day. Other than that, I will gladly stay at the hotel again. But it doesn't do much good to have a view, if the window is opaque. It's a nice property. They should take pride in it."
