This place had a multitude of problems. While they did resolve one issue there were just too many. (Bright lights at night, Noisy, really dirty hall carpets, dirty sheets, holes in the curtains) we were forced to get another hotel mid-stay and they would not refund the nights we didn't stay there. Never again. Do not book this hotel.

OK, so here's an honest review: PROS: - Relatively quiet area - Washer and Dryer on site (excellent) - Staff was mostly nice and accommodating - Little Italy down the street was a dream - With the exception of the problem below, room was pretty clean, had housekeeping come clean the room mid-week and they did an excellent job, except for the curtain... CONS: - First room I was assigned still had someone's stuff in it - 2nd room had puke on the blackout curtain. Asked about having it replaced and was told I had to wait until the next day. The next day, the woman at the counter was rude and noncommittal about someone coming up to replace the curtain. No one ever did and I stayed in a room with puke on my blackout curtain all week. - Fire alarm late Friday night had to hang out on the sidewalk for like an hour (don't think there was actually a fire) Overall, an OK stay for the money. Puke curtain was a big turnoff so I don't think I'll stay here again, but you could do worse.

Sucks that something like a puke curtain and an unwillingness to resolve it could wreck an otherwise decent stay.

its nice for like a last minute plan or a cheap stay but very basic on everything else middle of downtown san diego but 10 minute walk from main downtown san diego a little dark and not much light or shine to dull and only one way in the motel very limited parking.

I came to check in, and the elevator is not working. Then I got a room on the 4 floor and I told them that I am too old to work ona 4 floor. He said ok, and give me the same room again. Then they changed to the first floor, but the key to the room did not work. Then, when I got to the room , the TV did not work. They changed my room to 2 floor.

Carpet floor on the 3rd floor needs to be cleaned immediately. There was a stain on bedsheet. You can smell cigarettes in the elevator. Overall, the stay was okay.
