"We arrived to find that we were not going to get the king size bed with a partial ocean view that we had reserved. We were told that we had two double beds instead. We were told for $100 more a night we could have a king. But we did not know that there would also be $158 a night for changing the room and additional taxes. That added up to an additional $170 per night.Our bill was almost twice what had been indicated when we made the reservation. No one could explain to me the purpose of a reservation, if you were told it was available and you arrive and it was not. We had called the night before to verify the reservation and were told that the reservation was there and yes, we were getting a king size bed.Then at the desk when we arrived, they said that the type of beds could not be guaranteed. That really needs to be stated on the reservation.
Other than that, it was a very nice stay. Breakfast was nice. Housekeeping did a fine job. The concierge was excellent."
