Pittsburgh North Shore HI Express

This hotel exceeded our expectations. We did see some very nice reviews online, but when you're in another city that you're not familiar with, you are sometimes taking a chance. We were received very nicely at the front desk. She was very helpful and very polite. The area in the parking lot felt safe and the price was just right! The lobby was very nice. Though the elevators were a little slow, we entered a very nice and clean and accommodating room. The only negative was the television programming-just not good. Great location if you are interested in Pittsburgh sports. If you are not, still a great location for bars and restaurants. Would return in the future if in the area.

Excellent location near the ballpark felt it was safe, clean, in a great location. The breakfast was wonderful. We enjoyed our stay in this very friendly city. It’s also very beautiful there.

Great Hotel a Block away from Pirates Stadium

We visited Pittsburgh to see family and to enjoy a Pirates game. We were very pleased with this hotel - only a block away from the stadium with ample parking. Our room with quite comfortable and the bathroom was sparkling clean. Breakfast was hot and tasty, although there was some difficulty keeping coffee and entrees well stocked on Saturday. However, we assumed this was due to insufficient staffing, as the attendants were working feverishly to keep up with demand. Other than that, all was great. We would definitely stay here again.

Our stay was very nice this was a great location and the staff was wonderful. The only thing that wasn’t fabulous was the room. Overall fine but the shower bench was broken and hanging and the cabinets with extra blankets and ironing board had a broken handle. Neither were a problem just not great to walk into a busted room.

It was very close to PNC Park, but one of the two elevators wasn't working and the other wasn't much better. No coffee available in the morning after letting them know. For the jacked up price due to the event it was definitely not worth it

Let’s just say I would not book here again. I got to the hotel at checkin time (3:00pm) didn’t get a room until 5:00pm, I was told repeatedly they were unstaffed and had a lot of check outs. My room was missing the comforters which was another inconvenience. and the widows are paper thin I heard everything that was happening outside to the point I couldn’t get any sleep. Lastly, the food attendant for breakfast was very rude! Like I stated I would not book at this hotel again.

Our stay was very nice. It was a bummer to have only one functioning elevator for the whole hotel when so many events were happening simultaneously. Waited on the elevator a number of times for upwards of 15min.

One of the hotels elevator was broken and the other one was always sticking and not working right. The room was disgusting, the refrigerator didnt work. Will probably not stay at this hotel again unless things change.
