The pictures shown on Travelocity are not real representation of the presidential suite. The sofas were old and worn with cracks and holes. The frames on the mirrors were missing. It looked absolutely shameful. The walls were utterly dirty. The bathroom walls were peeling inside the shower. The toilet tissue dispenser hung on by a single screw. There were calcium deposits on the sink facet and shower. The ceiling had some sort of hodgepodge to cover up holes. There were old party decorations still hanging from the wall. I think the worst of it ALL was the music that played nonstop until 3:00 AM. The screaming in the hallway. It was difficult to sleep, shower, and relax. It was a horrible experience. When I mentioned something to the staff, he totally ignored and offered to simply clean the room instead of giving us a different room. They have falsely advertised on Travelocity with doctored photos of the presidential suite. They are not a true depiction of the presidential suite. If you want real pictures, Send your request to rwilson@oakland.edu. I want my money back for this mess.

Only stayed there since my friend had a wedding at the venue. I didn’t ever read the reviews prior of booking the room. Upon entering the room the smell tells you all about it right away. I ended up throwing away many of my personal items since everything smelled like cigarettes and some old smell. Had to wash all my clothes as well. Luckily we did not had bedbugs but would not surprise if other rooms have. This hotel (which is really a motel) needs a big renovation. I would better pay extra $50 and stay at Hilton near or somewhere else.

When we pulled up to this hotel we automatically felt uncomfortable. The picture of the hotel online isn’t the actual hotel. You have to drive around the side of the building to get to the hotel office. The doors to a lot of the rooms were open so we could see the rooms. They are not in very good condition. We didn’t stay there that’s how sketchy it was. I would not recommend this place!

They advertise that the room has a jacuzzi when it’s just a large bathtub. The room was not very clean, the floors were slick and they don’t provide more than 2 towels.

Overall, the stay was ok. No major problems, but the mattress was awful. My wife and I were in town for a convention, but we cut out the last day of the trip to head home because neither of us could sleep well on the mattress and were both in pain. The room itself was fairly bare bones for being "the dream suite." No table or space to sit and eat comfortably. There was also a hole in the drywall we didn't notice until after the staff had left for the night. I reported it on check-out and am hoping we don't get blamed for it. If you don't have back issues, it's not a bad place to stay.

Very crappy neighborhood. Motel is very dated. Website is very misleading. Parking poor! Toilet, leaked at the Bowl every time you flush it. Not enough towels.. very one ply toilet tissue. Nothing good to say about this place.

Our room was a disaster when we were put into it later than expected. The door was broken, our keys wouldn’t work on it because of some faulty system with the digital keys, the bed was smaller than advertised, the mattress was plastic and caved in, the coffee maker was filthy, they had zero accountability nor accommodation for lack of pillows/towels, the towels were cheap and left residue everywhere, the phone to the front desk was unplugged and broken. Many things were horribly wrong with this place, and I would not recommend staying.
