Check in guy had weird sense of humor asked for credit card. Usually folks say good evening just need a credit card for to put on file. I said is this for incidentals he said no this is for payment for a week at 400$ a night for the week. I said this is one night prepaid. He said no it’s for the week. At this point I think he realized I was tired and just wanted a bed for the family. He said he was joking. I said this was last night of a week vacation and appreciate the humor but after a 4 hr drive and Atlanta traffic then finding out I have to pay 27$ to park at a non city hotel is a little irritating. To follow that up got take out at the restaurant/bar. Gave cash to the waiter he didn’t give change. I waited for 5 minutes and finally said could I get change and he said how much do you need? I said give me it all and I will leave you a 20% tip but I find it crazy that you assume I will leave you a 45% tip for slowly bringing me a beer while I wait for a 22$ pizza and a 17$ basic salad. Staff were total tools.

The hotel itself and staff as well as the room and breakfast were great. Our issue was that we waited over an hour for the shuttle to get us from the airport while we saw many other hotels (2 star hotels, for example) come through multiple times within that hour. The website states the shuttle comes every 30 minutes, but we waited over an hour and had to call to check what the delay was. They just said "they'll be there soon" and we proceeded to wait another 15 minutes in the middle of the night...

Great spot next to the river with a nice view. One the river walking path, so very walkable. The restaurant was nice, but could use a kids menu as it’s in a hotel. Free breakfast was ok, but suggest a waffle maker. Overall, great and quiet spot and would stay there again.
