Being at place d’Italie location is absolutely fabulous with easy access to everywhere. There were maintenance problems. There was a problem with hot water and it was not fixed for more than 24 hours. One of the two elevators never worked. There was a planned power outage the day we were leaving.

Place d'Italie is a transportation hub so the location is very convenient. This was my third stay at this hotel. I recommend asking for a street-side room.

Immediately we LOVED this cozy property, perfectly located in a shopping center with an IKEA! why is an IKEA important? affordable provisions for the apartment like an extra pan, or frozen foods at the same cost you're used to paying in your local IKEA. On Sunday there's a HUGE open market up the block where you can get fresh meat, produce, spices and extras. The Louvre and Notre Dame are a walkable distance away, but the train will get you there faster. The transit system is easy to negotiate. I can't say enough good things about this hotel and the location. My service dog was accepted without paying extra or presenting my medical records. I WILL be returning for the holidays and I've already recommended it to friends and family.

Stayed at the hotel for 5 nights and not once was the room cleaned. Guests had to go downstairs themselves to get clean towels. Trash in the room was never taken out, customers had to throw it in the hallway bins, which led to an unpleasant odor throughout the corridor. additionally, some of the power outlets in the room were damaged and never repaired or replaced. Overall, the hotel is poorly managed.

Did not like - complicated booking/check in system. Confirmed as accepted... Followed later by many emails requesting same info - to the extent i emailed them asking if I had been scammed. Silence then. Upon check in, more of the same! Check in from 3pm. Arrived after well 4. Room not ready. Had told them eta. Many rooms not ready. When finally I gained access I found that the fridge did not work - essential for my medication. Change of room....time wasted. At time of my stay, only one small lift operating. Ridiculous. Towels small and very well used. Limited drying - and I'm a small person. Room cleaned/serviced once during my 11 day stay. No teabags/coffee... First morning queried the air conditioning. Oh that doesnt come on until May! Two fire alarms late in the evening. Upon descending, receptionist checking in new arrivals. No one checking those assembling on street. 2nd time I stayed in my room. No check. Asked reception for location of nearest Tourist Office. Grudgingly given and as for directions of how to get there.... Two other times I asked for help. One time told repeatedly to get a taxi in spite of my stating that I was not going to. Another time receptionist repeatedly left me waiting whilst she dealt with others. Rude. This also happened when checking out. Obviously not there to help. 2 good things - lovely clean shopping mall, with a supermarket part of the complex and metro directly opposite. Place d'Italie very pretty.

My 3rd time at Hotel

My 3rd visit to Hotel. Very happy with location - I have friends living near place d'italie. Small kitchen - mall next door with Carrefour. 4 metro lines. Easy to get to anywhere in Paris. Small park a couple blocks away if you are a runner. I don't know the complaint about hot water - but My complaint is - that it is too Hot. 🔥 No problem with front desk - but I didn't need help.
