"We had a wonderful stay at the View and spent many afternoons watching the boats in the harbor. This house is very comfortable with three mini-splits for AC and a fully loaded kitchen. Lots of dishes, cookware and many staples. The washer/dryer was useful for our week-long stay. Many puzzles for the one rainy day. I will say that I didn't want to stay here bc of the price, but my husband wanted the view. The only negatives were that the pictures of the deck make it look HUGE when in fact it is kind of small although plenty of space for 4-5 people - just somehow is way different than the pic. My husband was disappointed at first, but the setup is very utilitarian so it totally works and is comfortable (and gorgeous!). Communication was great with the rental company. The main bedrooms are on opposite sides of the house which is great for multi-families. The neighbors are all friendly and we chatted with several (and saw them in town). There is a great walking trail to a quarry just at the end of the street. Walking into town is downhill all the way (so coming home...) and a bit of a hike - 10 minutes to Back Beach and 25 minutes to Bearskin Neck. We did a mix of walking and driving in. Parking in Rockport was not bad (except on the 4th of July - to be expected). Overall a great stay, but a bit pricey."

"This Charming New England home has everything you might need and more. Inside you can get lost with 2 stairways, 3 floors and multiple sun rooms, living rooms and large dining room. It's a beautiful old home which they just don't build anymore. The beds and sheets are comfortable. Extra roll away beds and cribs were in closets. We appreciated having 2 refrigerators for our large family group. We cooked in the incredibly well stocked kitchen every day and kept finding more things to use. The grill and table on the deck were perfect for dining al fresco. There are so many unique gathering areas to enjoy. Outdoors they have large table/dining area, a large hot tub, swim tub, seating area, fire pit, corn hole, and green space. It is walkable to Bearskin Neck area. Shaw's grocery store is 8 minutes away. Victor was easy to contact and a very responsive and helpful host. Thanks for a wonderful stay Victor! *Tip - Good Harbor beach was 10 minutes away and a perfect beach day! You pay for parking but its worth it. And the house has beach chairs and sand toys you can take with you. (Concessions, bathrooms & beach store)"

"This is the PERFECT house for your vacation! Exactly as described, but even more stunning in person. Our family enjoyed the pool so much, and that is a rare find in Rockport. The hosts definitely went above and beyond with their extra touches like a snack basket when we arrived, a personalized note, and all of their well-appointed details (napkins, beach towels, lots of nice beach gear). The beach truly is only a 5 minute walk, and the town in quintessential New England - fabulous seafood, littles hopes, amazing views. The furniture and decor is beautiful and top quality - everything was super comfortable. Book before it’s gone!"

"There was a lot to like about The Cove, except for the check-in process which was unpleasant. I received one email saying there would be a second email with details for entry. The other emails I received were just offers to upgrade the room (?? Why?). So I figured it would work out when we arrived. However, upon arrival we found no human being available. I called twice and left messages, no call back. Then I sent an sns and finally got the entry code. I have the impression this facility is managed on a "remote" basis. But besides the nail-biter upon entry ("will we have to sleep in the car tonight?"), the room and bed were great!"
