"It was a privilege to stay in such a relaxing bach (Paekakariki has a lot of character and charm!) with an impressive view of Kapiti as well as show-stopper sunsets. We swam, walked, visited the market, ate fresh fish, yarned with one or two locals, and enjoyed relaxing together as a family. Our 2-year-old was enraptured with the beach as well as the multitude of dogs and walkers (and we got to watch the surf life saving club doing their drills in the water). The bach has excellent amenities and everything we needed for a comfortable stay and two good nights’ sleep. Thanks to our hosts for sharing their slice of paradise, and for the complementary milk, tea, coffees, etc. We hope to come again!"
