Clean, quiet motel, notices encouraging guests to contact management when noise disturbance. Manager/owner could be more engaging with guests - do not expect to have to phone reception when the office is locked and displaying an open sign at check out time and the bath/shower needs a bath mat as the surface is dangerously slippery when used.

Room was fine, but bed was quite hard so not that comfortable. Bathroom door could do with replacing as has suffered water damage. The shower head is an old in wall design which has no flexibility if you are tall or short.

Great place to stay. Good cooking facilities, had Sky TV for formula 1. Asked about laundry and one of the cleaners just said give it to me, ill do it and put it back in your room when its done, a great service.

I loved the little extra touches at this motor lodge, like the electric blankets, bottles of water in the fridge and a decent number of hot chocolate sachets for non-tea and coffee drinkers. There was a spa bath too which we didn’t use but it elevated the room above your usual motor lodge. We arrived quite late at night, after reception closed, but they had a nifty screen where you type in your name and phone number and your room key pops out. Made it really easy to stay no matter what time you arrive. Even though it was close to a main road we didn’t hear one single car. I was kept awake though from the person in the unit above thumping around like an elephant at all hours of the night, so if you’re susceptible to noise like me I recommend booking an upstairs unit so you don’t hear heavy footsteps above you. All in all a great place to stay.
