This home is located in Orlando's most luxurious gated community, Emerald Island Resort! Closest gated community to Disney. This luxurious vacation home near Disney includes an over sized pool and spa with an extra large patio. A soak in our pool and spa is a great way to relax after a long day at the parks!
Included with this home are all the Emerald Island resort community features. These include an on-site management and concierge service, two community pools and spa, a tiki bar for drinks and snacks, volleyball, tennis court, cyber-cafe, children play areas, arcade, sauna, and nature trails for biking and picnics.
The luxurious Emerald Island resort is only three short miles from Walt Disney World, and there are shops, restaurants and supermarkets all within walking distance or a quick drive.

Emerald Island resort is the closest community to Disney!!! If you are looking to rent near Disney this is the place to go!!
As you drive up to Emerald Island's main gate, through the palm tree lined entrance with dolphin fountains, you'll realize that you are staying somewhere special.
The spacious and beautifully decorated living/dining room has a convertible queen sofa bed and a fully-equipped entertainment system. This includes a large screen TV, DVD and stereo system, all for your entertainment pleasure. Leading from the living/dining room is the upgraded and fully-equipped kitchen, which includes a ceramic top range, side by side refrigerator/freezer with ice and water in the door, dishwasher, garbage disposal, and microwave. Wolfgang Puck dishes, storage container, Mickey Mouse dishes, and Mickey Mouse toaster and waffle iron are also included. Everything that you would have at home is in this beautiful home.
Have your meals at the convenient breakfast bar with bar stools or separate breakfast nook, for your informal dining, with a view of the pool.

We've tried to think of everything, from the Mickey Mouse toaster and waffle iron, to the blender for those frozen drinks by the pool. A separate laundry room with a washer and dryer, iron and ironing board are located just off the kitchen area. If this isn't enough, the garage has been converted to a carpeted game room complete with a pool table, air hockey, Foosball® and Pinball machine with free play, and TV with Playstation 2®. The game room also has a high top table with bar stools for the grownups.
There is a gas grill and a covered patio, so you are able to get out of the sun. There are loungers and a patio table and chairs, along with a gas grill. Come home and have a barbeque and watch the kids swim. There is also a safety fence and alarms on all doors leading to the pool.

The home has four bedrooms that sleep up to ten people. The first master bedroom has a queen bed, and patio doors that lead directly to pool and spa, cable TV, private telephone, hair dryer.

This room has a connected master bathroom with separate shower, marble top counter with double sink. The second master bedroom also has a queen bed with cable TV. There is also hall bath with all towels and hair dryer. The two twin bedrooms each have two twin beds. Each room is specially designed for children, and includes Disney themed decor, cable TV, DVD player and plenty of toys and games. One children's room has a Mickey theme and the other has a frozen theme.
Every comfort of home has been thought of. This will be you home away from home. Walt Disney World is a two to three mile drive and is close enough to come back during the day and have lunch and take a swim. Then return to the parks for dinner or to see the fireworks. Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure are about 15- 20 minutes and Sea World is about 10 minutes.away.

This was our second stay at the property in the last 5 years. The stay itself and the home were really great. The location cannot be better, so close to everything Disney and about 30 minutes to Universal(traffic). The Emerald Island resort area is Fantastic; very secure and welcoming. This was the first time we used the community pool and hot tub. We had some minor issues with the pool that the property mgr quickly handled once we send some pics. My only complain was the Hot Tub or lack of heat….let preface by saying it’s an add. 200 plus to have the Hot Tub heated. Our previous visit we didn’t pay for the “hot” water and my arthritic knees paid the price. So we splurged this time around. Day 1 we are excited to use it, turn it on and no heat. We let it run for hrs and still no heat. I contacted the property mgr who then told me the pool water must be too “hot” to have an effect?? She said if the water is too hot in the pool, it effects the Hot Tub..Strange… I chalk it up and move on. We go to the community pool and I use the hot tub there, yup over 100 degrees!! Fantastic! We try multiple other days to no avail., at the house. I contact the property mgr again to say we actually got a thermometer and the temp of the hot tub and pool never rose over 80 degrees. I tell her either the heat doesn’t work or no one turned it on. She went silent. All I wanted was the heat I paid extra for. If you charge extra for HOT, you should get it. Still no reply.

Emerald Island Resort is a MUST for your vacation

My family ( husband 3 children ages 14,14 and 11) went on our first family vacation to the Tinkerbell Home. We had the absolute best time. The accommodations were exactly how described and the property manager ( Krystal) was a pleasure to deal with. We had no issues whatsoever and will definitely be returning. If you are looking for a great, private and secure area, contact the Host, Jane to book your stay!

Enjoyed our stay!

Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again! Some fun family rivalries were born at the pool table. The game room and pool were great and the location was conveniently close to the Disney parks. We were asked to set the thermostat at around 78°F during the day when away from the house. This makes sense, but if the outside temperature is really hot like it was when we were there, the air conditioning has trouble cooling things down in the evening. The surface of the pool is a bit rough so you may want to consider wearing something on your feet. The main bed squeaks pretty loud as was mentioned elsewhere. Overall, the issues were minor and our stay was good. If you have a family, there is plenty to keep everyone busy.

Fun Villa for a family

Had a great 3 week holiday in this villa, perfect for 1 family unit with lovely sunny extended pool deck and a lanai for essential shade. Fun games room for both parents and children. All essentials provided Would recommend and book again. The only niggle for us was with the doors .. the main entrance door lock worked but didn’t feel secure and we wedged a chair against it at night and only 1 of the 2 patio doors opened and locked easily. Sure these issues easily sorted.

Perfect location and great neighborhood!

Perfect for us. We had the best time in the Tinkerbell House. Clean, great layout, well kept and beautifully landscaped neighborhood, game room was all usable and great fun for the family. Only suggestion is chalk for the pool sticks so the hubs can’t use it as excuse for losing. ;) Universal, SeaWorld and WDW only 20-25 minutes away, with traffic. Very close to the parks but Emerald Island Resort is a perfect retreat from the tourist chaos! We will definitely stay here again.

The location is great for WDW - 15min to any park. There was plenty of room for our group of 7. The game room and pool were great entertainment for kids. The floors were a bit dirty (not swept behind doors, floss laying in middle of room). Sparse amenities - four forks in kitchen and no pot holders, 1 hand towel for entire home. PS2 and 2 TVs not working.

Location was excellent! Easy to get around. The house was very comfortable. Wasn't fully cleaned when we arrived but that was due to a power outage in the community. We all enjoyed the pool. We would definitely book this house again if we come back to Florida!

Perfect home base for everything Orlando

Everything about this place was welcoming. It has a clean pool, playroom (pinball and classic arcade games FTW!), and four bedrooms to recharge. Real easy to get to the parks. We did all the Disney parks and spent a day at Discovery Cove. This place felt like coming home after a long hot day! Would definitely stay here again

Nice house

We stayed here for a week while visiting Disney world. The location of the property was great and made it super easy to get to and from the parks. The neighborhood was nice and we loved the extra security of it being gated. The property itself was nice overall and there was plenty of space for the 6 of us. It definitely is a bit dated but was clean and that’s all that mattered to us. The pool and hot tub were awesome after long days at the parks. We all really enjoyed the game room as well! The only reasons we didn’t give it 5 stars was because for one the property can accommodate up to 8 people yet the kitchen is only stocked with FIVE spoons! We couldn’t even all eat at the same time and we were constantly having to wash them. I did see another review from awhile back stating the same complaint so sounds like it’s been a problem. If you stay here make sure you bring plastic utensils! Our other complaint was we paid the extra to have the pool/hot tub heated yet we were given no instructions on how the pool heat would be turned on or how to operate the hot tub. I ended up calling the property manager and she was super nice and walked me through it but that should’ve been written down somewhere for guests to have access to without having to try to get ahold of someone from property management. Overall we had a nice vacation and the house worked well for us for the most part! If you are looking for a nice and affordable option this is definitely one to consider!

Our stay was ok! The location of the house is awesome and their is a lot of things to do around! The grocery stores are close and the amenities where the house is located are great( mini golf , pool, tennis and play ground)! If you are planning to stay here get yourself ready to pay extra $20 for entrance card per car ( something that has never been mentioned to us). We stayed in the end of November and the pool that the house have was cold which was never mentioned to us. To have it warm we had to pay extra! We never found that info anywhere on the listing or the additional information we received! The maintenance guy came to turn on the heat for the pool and we paid cash to him and we never received a receipt! We kindly ask him to show us how to lock the fence for the pool since we had little kids with us and he couldn’t do it so we got a really rude answer like : “Soo you can’t just watch your kids?!?” ! This was one bad experience! I bought more things to accommodate our stay at this house that I ever bought before with any other house we have stayed before( laundry detergent, dish soap, trash bags, toilet paper, cleaning supply)! All the mattresses need to be replaced, they are squeaking and you can’t even turn without someone from the other people hearing you! The cleaners didn’t do such a good job cleaning this house! We found candy wrappers and other stuff around the bedrooms and when I tried to clean it with the vacuum that thing was staffed with garbage and it was with a broken handle! I cleaned it for them! After all I think with a little bit of talk with the management people can really have a great stay! The kitchen is equipped with all you need and the pool is great( when warm)! I recommend getting the insurance staying here so you are on the safe side! I really wanted to enjoy this stay more and some of the things we got “hiccups “ with were not worth calling the owner! I hope they fix the hi-lighted problems so they can have people really enjoy their stay!

Very easy to check in. House was spacious enough for my family (I have teenagers) it was very clean and located in the perfect spot. Only thing we didn’t like was check out time was very early. We had to wake up early enough to wash whatever towels we used but there wasn’t any washing powder provided in the home so we had to run to the store to get washing powder at 7am. Kind of strange it’s our Job to do that when you pay a cleaning fee

Nice, pleasant stay!

We brought 2 college grads, 2 high school grads and a 14 year old and we all LOVED this house. The game room was a BIG hit with all of us! The pool and spa was nice at the end of a long hot Florida day at the parks. There was a solar blanket on the spa and one by the pool to help heat the water, but we didn't need them. The water was great! The Mickey toaster was MIA which bummed the 14 yr old, and we only had 5 small/cereal spoons, but otherwise, the house is equipped with everything you'd need. The house had plenty of room for us all. Nice laundry room with iron, ironing board, washer and dryer (dryer takes a while to dry clothes) but having a washer and dryer was a big help. Plenty of towels for the bathrooms and pool. We didn't use the grill but it was available on the patio which was nice. The master bathroom recepticals didn't work at first but eventually we figured out to reset the GFI breaker in the other bathroom....so just a heads up if it happens to you. The beds are nice and comfy, everyone slept well. There are no ceiling fans in the guest bedrooms, and they only have lamps which give off a little light... perfect if you want to read at night but bad if you're looking for something in your room. About 5-10 mins to all the parks, Walmart, Publix, and eating places. The guard at the entrance was great. Super nice and jovial. We did not use the clubhouse facilities but at check in for our access card, which requires a $10 deposit by the way, and again at check out, the front desk staff really was really rude. Nothing to do with the house but just FYI when you go in, don't expect southern hospitality. Overall, we would definitely rent this house again. We really enjoyed our stay.

Great place for families with young kids

Excellent location- close to restaurants. Loved the neighborhood-had sidewalks, community pool, and 2 playgrounds very close to the house. The backyard pool, hot tub, and game room were amazing. Great place for little kids- has a safety gate around the pool, a high chair, pack-n-play, and an umbrella stroller. Rated a 4/5 as the house is dated and some of the furniture was falling apart/damaged, also had burnt out lights in a few rooms. We are given the wrong door code so we were not able to get into the house right away, but the managers were helpful in getting us a new code. Overall a nice stay.

Nice Getaway with Family

We had fun playing pinball with the family. Clean house, except for bedpost in master was broken and fell on my head. Jets on hot tub stopped working and pool wasn’t filtering , pool guy came out 3 times, was waiting on a part but it didn’t show up before we left, but it was a nice getaway Owner was pleasant and quick to respond.

Perfect Family Getaway

This was a perfect home for our family getaway. We relaxed by the pool and had fun in the game room. The house was very clean and had every thing we needed. Great location!

Comfortable and Convenient

My family really enjoyed our stay. The property was clean, comfortable, and convenient to the Disney Parks and grocery stores. Questions and concerns were addressed promptly. We would definitely stay here again.
