BEWARE THEY ARE SCAMMERS! I booked this place for my wife, my 2yr old and myself a month in advance! The communication was terrible from the beginning, received weird messages in Brazilian more than English. They sent messages on WhatsApp & when you ask a question they never respond, they never ever gave a code to enter but stated we need it to check in. The day of our trip the check in was at 4pm, we received a message from the app at 3pm stating the property had a leak so we couldn’t stay there, which if you google is something scammers say. They stated we would be getting a refund… We spoke to virtual assistant they stated we have no refunds being currently processed! Mind you the hotel.com customer service numbers don’t work so beware of that as well, they really need to step it up and get that fixed because this is how people will get scammed and the app will never know still messaging you asking how is your stay? A place we didn’t stay in at all! We had to call our bank because they indeed did not refund us! Then we had to last minute book another spot after a 4 hr drive with a toddler! Would not recommend these idiot scammers ever! They will keep your money and waste your time!
