The staff at Hotel Mio were amazing. Super helpful and friendly. The view from the rooftop restaurant was a 10/10 and if you get a room on the river keep a lookout for the crocodile and all of the iguanas in the trees.

The best shower water pressure I've ever had at a hotel in Mexico. The room was fine but smelled badly of must. The air conditioner just had a bad smell. The rooftop pool area was lovely, a great vibe nice pool plus a nice big hot tub. However the restaurant was beyond terrible probably the worst food we've had in Mexico. Do not bother with breakfast buffet.

Overall, it was nice and clean But I had two issue once I was just booking the hotel. The pictures that provided was different from the actual view, in front of Hotel was under construction and we couldn’t enjoy with the view. I request them to change, but they didn’t provide such good options. They show me one very small room and the other they told me you need to pay around $1000 Canadian dollars extra for one week.

We loved our stay at Hotel Mio. The property is immaculate and the staff is really friendly. We traveled with our dog which was no problem; they even have a little welcome gift for their four legged guests. The rooftop pool was nice and relaxing and the breakfast spread impressive.
