Pod 39 is not a luxury hotel. But It gives me EVERYTHING I want, including a great room rate. The staff is fantastic. So is the in-room safe, cable TV and proximity to Grand Central Terminal. I have come to really enjoy the predictable simplicity of staying at Pod 39. It has been my NYC property-of-choice for quite a few years. I am never disappointed.

The good: All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean. The rooftop lounge was nice and free coffee in the morning. The annoying: For having a smaller room, it seemed there could have been more hooks on bare walls for hats bags and towels. The air conditioner sounded like cats in a cage and the room safe was broken. Other than that it was a decent stay.
