The location was great from the train station just like 6 blocks walking. it was nice being next to all the flower and plant shops. Our check in was fast and easy the person at the front desk was very helpful & kind and the fact that you can leave your luggage and walk around before our room was ready was nice. Our room was clean and had a nice view of the city.

Great location, great staff

Great location, it’s an older property so there were some things not in tiptop shape, but the front desk was mad aware and they were fixed the same day. The staff were friendly and helpful and even arranged a car service for us on our departure from Newark. Overall, I would stay here again.

I would not stay here again. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone. Not worth the $$$ I read reviews for many other properties that said “quiet” or “no noise” and plz stay at those properties. I was awoken at 1am to someone moving their furniture. I heard both (next to us and above us) neighbors conversations. You hear every door on your floor closing. You hear the elevators all night rattling. The elevators are another not so fun part of this hotel. It’s definitely janky and it says the last inspection was 2/14/24 so it’s been over a year since it’s been inspected and it definitely feels like it should be shut down. You step in and it bounces, you close the door it bounces, you breathe it bounces. And it makes noises like it’s seriously straining. I say “it” because both elevators work but only the one on the left was really the only one that would come up and down. The rooms are a bit small but as to be expected, it was funny to watch the tv on the toilet. But let’s talk about these beds. The beds…straight out of the used and reused mattress store. They’re full spring worn out mattresses, so it was like sleeping on a slab. We had to lay one of our pillows under us which didn’t really help but we told ourselves it did. Needless to say with the mattress and the noise we got little to no sleep, maybe that’s why NY is considered the city that never sleeps. I of course reached out to the chat that texted me “rate your stay 1-5” and I said “1” and they said “tell us why”

I love this area (Flower District!) and street in particular (W 28th). It is super close to Penn Station, 6th Ave/Street of Americas, and youre surrounded by restaurants and coffeeshops (Pret, Bagel Pub, McDonald's for the kids, Bodega and Duane Read a block away, etc). The hotel was convenient, comfortable, and safe. The elevators (there are 2) were timely (which matters!!), and staff were friendly. I found some hair in the bathroom when we checked in, bit other than that, no complaints. Would come back and atay here again!

This property was a good location, walkable to lots including subway stations. It was somewhat loud at night but I’m sure much quieter than it would be staying in Times Square. The room was okay, clean and what you would expect. We had a terrible experience where our toilet was clogged at 11:00 pm and front desk did not have a plunger and was not able to look for a plunger. I even asked to be moved rooms if they couldn’t fix it and they said nothing was available so me with 3 kids in a hotel with no usable toilet until we checked out the next morning. For that I would definitely not choose this hotel again.

This Hotel needs upgrading with massive investment! Facilities are super poor with constant loud noise if people in other rooms use showers. There was an unpleasant constant smell that I have to deal with every day. Bathroom facilities are in poor condition. Door lock is loose which not safe at all when sleeping. Tea making machine does not work at all and dust is everwhere.
