The hotel did not have our reservation, waited 45 minutes to check in. Staff was unprofessional and acted as if I made the error. Finally get to our room, horrible, outdated and nothing like the photos. Also I think they gave my room away.Towels smelled like chlorine and hard. Upon checkout another catastophe, come to find out they charged someone elses room service to my credit card and told me to wait 7-10 bus days for a refund..then again acted as if I did something wrong, the employee rose their voice and kept interrupting my boyfriend when he was trying to explain the problem. While waiting I spoke to anotner guest coming from England who had an even more horrific experience and was left to find another hotel!!! I will never stay at this Double Tree Hilton Hotel Ever!! Worst NY hotel experience I ever had, we even checked out early to go home. I am very disappointed in the hotel for having hired such unprofessional people with no customer service.

Close to transportation and shopping but buildings on the street always seen to be under construction and scaffolding.

Only 2 elevators for 26 floors, delivery & hotel staff would tie up the 2 elevators for long periods of time. Numerous times took stairs 7 floors. Restaurant is a joke. Somtime breakfast buffet had food other times ver little. No staff checking food levels. Several times tables never wipe off just moved dirty plates to a different table to accommodate the next round of breakfast crowd. On first day our toliet ran nonstop, called report 5 days later when we left no one had come to fix.

I didn’t like how my room had no hot water the first morning and we had to call 3 times to get it fixed. Also I didn’t like how the staff member on duty that morning was trying to make us feel like we were over reacting for not having hot water. All we did was asked to get the engineer back in our room or if need be switch us rooms so we can have hot water. Also it just sucked that we were on the 25th floor and the elevators were going in and out so it would take about 10mins to get an elevator to go down.
