Quick check in, cute room and ok breakfast. Since it is right off Broadway, it was very loud. I live in NYC and am used to the noise and was bothered by the noise in this room. It was also a corner room which was neat but the sign for the hotel was very bright even with the blinds closed. Most importantly, my son woke up with a small rash on his face. By afternoon it had spread all over his body. I'm not sure what type of products they use or if the sheets weren't cleaned prior to our stay. Something to consider.

Hi; Thank you for your comments. We apologize for any inconvenience but with in all fairness, think that some of your comments are misleading. We are an extremely clean hotel and change our sheets daily and are confident that it did not originate from our linens. NYC is also a very loud city but we have double panned glass in all of our rooms to help buffer the noise but apologize if the outside noise impacted your stay with us. Thank you for your business.

Nice hotel, great staff, lovely view, deposit bad

Pros: The room was a good size. The view at night was lovely. The staff was excellent.
Cons: There is no fan in the bathroom and room temperature is terrible. It is stuffy, too hot, then too cold, then too hot, then too cold, within minutes
Location: Excellent location, perfect actually. Everything is very easily accessible. Taxis readily available. $7.50 from hotel to 1st ave & 23rd St, for exampl
Initial Issues: I booked a reservation on Travelocity.com for an $89 hotel room. At the time of making the reservation, there was a button I had to click to not pay an add-on fee to cancel my reservation that is for TOMORROW so of course I would not cancel my place to sleep in NYC. However, AFTER I PAID and got the itinerary confirmation number AND AFTER I CLICKED ON ANOTHER PAGE to review the reservation, there was an "Additional Fees" section that says the when I get to the hotel, the hotel will charge me an ADDITIONAL $200 DEPOSIT PLUS A $35 PER DAY SELF-PARKING FEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now, my $89 room just became $331 AND THEY WON'T ALLOW ME TO GET MY $106 BACK FOR MY INITIAL CHARGE TO GET A DIFFERENT HOTEL!!!!!!! Upon getting to the hotel, I was greeted by 2 Bellhops who opened the door for me. They were very helpful and friendly, offering help with the luggage and finding the parking garage. The front desk staff calmed my worries about the deposit because it is actually $100 with a debit card, not $200 as with cash. We were escorted to our room. Our initial impressions were that it is a very big room, nice, it had a sofa, desk, 1 chair, big bathroom, flat screen TV. Later at night, my friend enjoyed looking at the city buildings, which is actually mostly a view of ugly rooftops, until night time when we saw the Empire State Building and this other really beautiful building that lights up at night, from our room. The water was iffy, the wifi totally sucks.

Great hotel with friendly staff/perfect value

Pros: Staff - room size, breakfast and attentiveness.
Cons: Would love refrigerators in the rooms - with all the great food NYC has to offer - we did bring back some leftovers. ;)
Location: Right near Times Square and subway stations - great place to take advantage of all NYC has to offer.
We booked this hotel looking for something near Times Square that was affordable, and had rooms for 4 people. We had an amazing time - and everyone working at the hotel was very attentive. Rooms were a great size - free continental breakfast was very handy - and 24/7 coffee is always a plus. Special shoutout to the bell hop and front desk young gentleman who were working around 6 pm Monday evening - we had a very stressful occurrence with the car service that was to pick us up. These two gentlemen did everything they could to assist us, to suggest options - and they remained calm and professional, even when one of our party got a bit overly stressed. Great job guys - wish I had gotten your names - but you'll know who you are. You were phenomenal. <3

Cool Chelsea comfort!

My friends and I had 2 rooms a single and a double. Both rooms bigger than average NY hotels. Clean, love modern style. Staff awesome. Kenny, concierge the best! Ordered food and was delicious from Cafe 28. The continental breakfast very nice touch. Loved the little kitchen people sat in. Best coffee ever, 24 hours... that speaks volumes to me! We all had wonderful experience and my NY friends impressed and will refer to Broadway Plaza! Thank you!

Very nice hotel.. close to everything

It was great.. Cleanliness, location, staff.. The room was pretty big. The entrance to the hotel is pretty tiny and there's no restaurant but overall everything was fine.. Very recommended..

Great location, great value

Pros: Easy access, not the busiest part of town so it is easier to get to.
Location: Close to the Empire State Building, and just a few short subway stops from broadway and times square area. Also close to greenwich village and NYU.
Less expensive than most midtown hotels. It might not be as fancy but it certainly meets the need. Conveniently close to subway and central location makes easy access uptown or downtown from there. Rooms were clean and functional, staff was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again.
