Location, location, location and a gem of a hotel

Pros: see above
Cons: We would have liked a coffee maker in the room, or coffee available in the lobby.
Location: We walked from Central Park, to the Guggenheim, to Rockefeller Center, to Grand Central Station, to MOMA, the Theater District to Times Square & more.
We were thrilled to discover our location lent itself to easy walks covering Times Square, Rockefeller Center, Central Park -- and the theater district! When it was time to venture farther out, we walked a block to the Subway. The hotel has a boutique vibe and friendly staff, including Jeff, who was quick to anticipate our needs. The room was very clean, and held comfortable beds and a mini-fridge. (Yes, the room is small. It is NYC. Honestly, we were out from 9 am until midnight, not an issue for us.) We had an interior room and heard absolutely no city noise at all. Great family vacation, and we will return!

They took $100 from me and held it hostage for 12

Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything needs improved, try, try again Ameritania!
Location: Location was ok although the description said it was right across from the Ed Sullivan Theater and it was around the corner, not across from it.
This hotel required me to pay a $100 deposit via a card for services "I might use." I knew full well I wouldn't use these services but they made me give them this money anyway. The $100 was debited from my pre-paid card (I don't use credit cards) and then it wasn't debited back to the card until 12 days later. So basically they took $100 from me that I had planned to use on my vacation for absolutely no reason. The hotel was also old fashioned, loud and there was NO hot water in the shower the next morning. It was terrible, I would never stay here again and I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

Great.! Hotel is close to everything

Pros: Room cleaniness, the location was good to walk and take the subway. The staff was very nice.
Cons: I was surprised there was no restaurant in the hotel. My room view was to the back and there was nothing to see, horrible.
Location: There's plenty thing to do around,Time Square, Central Park, etc.
Great experience, when i got to the hotel there was a mix up with the room that i have reserved, but the staff was able to changed me to a bigger room. One of the reason why i chose this hotel was the reviews, very good reviews .. Overall my experience was good. Very recommended.

Nice clean hotel, good location, friendly staff

We had a great experience. Just ONE issue. Our AC was broken in the room and they didn't have another room to put us in. They sent two technicians to our room to fix it but no luck. We ended up having to stay in the warm room for that one night before being switched to another room the next day. The staff was really friendly and apologetic and comp'd us free breakfast and free Wifi (which I feel as though wifi should be free with the stay anyway but they charge $10 a day which is pretty ridiculous). But overall, I would recommend this hotel. They have friendly staff, it's in a good location and it was clean with modern rooms and modern showers (with amazing water pressure!)

I was very surprised that the hotel had no on floor ice machine. Calling for ice to me was inconvenient. I also was in a room with absolutely no view at all, that was an extreme disappointment.

Next time, we're staying elsewhere!

Pros: I did enjoy how close it was to all the theaters and Time Square attractions. The beds were also very comfortable.
Cons: Customer service at the front desk.
Location: Lots of theaters!! Great for lovers/actors/supporters of the arts.
Upon arrival at the hotel, my companion and I were surprised to learn that there were extra fees associated with our stay. We had carefully planned out this trip (months in advance) down to the very penny. No where in our confirmation email did it say that we were to put down a deposit for room incidentals, which we didn't use. The staff didn't do a good job of explaining what the deposit was for but they did lower it for the inconvenience it caused us, which was very nice of them. We were hoping that would be the only hiccup in our stay. When we got to the room, some of the toiletries were missing. We didn't have any body soap. The room service button on the phone was broken. Actually none of the hotel numbers worked so we could reach the front desk. The lights were VERY dim in the room leading us to believe that they needed to be replaced and the water pressure was horrible. While it was a decent price for my first official vacation, I will be staying elsewhere the next time I visit NYC.

Great Stay

Great location! We booked the Deluxe King room. It was beautiful. The bed was so comfortable, I could've slept all day! Staff was wonderful and very attentive. I will definitely be back.

Great Find in Times Square Area

Great little hotel in the Times Square area, about midway between Central Park and 42nd Street, adjacent to the Ed Sullivan (David Letterman) theater.  Rockefeller Square, Carnegie Hall and Radio City are only a couple of blocks to the East.  Every thing is within a 10 minute walk, and almost everything is less than 5 minutes. Subways are also only 2 -3 minutes away.  Lobby was contemporary and spacious. King room was bigger than most NYC hotels, with a great bed.  It could use a lounge chair however.  Staff was excellent. There is a small lounge and a large breakfast room, but we didn't try either of them.

Great Location, Very Nice Room

Very nice hotel, but nothing special. I would stay here again. The staff in general was very helpful besides the people at the front desk.

Nice hotel in a decent location.

The hotel was clean, friendly, and welcoming. We checked our bags before our room was ready without a problem. The bedroom isn't big but it was sufficient for two people. The bathroom was large and nicely finished. The view isn't anything to speak about and there is construction across the street but it was a Saturday so I did not hear any noise, however you may want to consider it during the week or ask about it first.
