"The food selection was amazing and when our A/C didn’t work in one of our rooms, they quickly relocated us to another set of rooms, with a beautiful view and massage chairs! The kids loved it!"

Hotel Indigo Hakone Gora by IHG
"The hotel was great but Hakone not so much. I got a river view which also included an industrial looking neighborhood. Probably not worth the expense. The restaurant was pricey but outstanding. Worth the bill."

Hakone Ashinoko Hanaori(ORIX HOTELS & RESORTS)
"This hotel was amazing. 5 out of 5 stars, only a 2 minute convenient walk from the bus station, and the amenities were incredible. We stayed in a room that had a private onsen, which was very romantic for my husband and I’s stay. Along with the open air hot springs, the amenities here were amazing. ..."

"Great location, easy flat walk from both Gora and Chokokunomori stations. Great amenities with complementary drinks, snacks and other things. "A nice getaway into the mountains of Hakone. The private onsens were really nice and relaxing (about $15 USD for an hour), easy to book too. The massage services were wonderful as well. My wife and I got breakfast and dinner included in our stay as well which had a pretty good variety and quality to it. Convenient too since there are not really any restaurants nearby but you can get to one if you take the bus or walk for a bit. Great staff, clean facilities. The washer dryer situation was rough. Washed well enough but the drying part didn't work so well."
