I feel violated after paying to stay in such a filthy hotel. I have stayed at this exact location several times though the past 10 years. We expected things to be outdated and settled with this location to keep our young children away from broadway at the beach chaos. I’m shocked that this place is legally able to stay in business as I feel it is a health hazard. I booked through a third party agency so I could not get a refund. The filth was over the top. Old guy in my sheets. Hair in the bed. What appeared to be mold behind the mattress on the corner of the room. Missing molding. The carpet was black looking and the entire place smelled like a wet dog. I didn’t even bother to take a shower. The hotel was loud. I could hear people flushing their toilets. I wanted my money back so badly as I could have had a better experience at a motel 6 for half the price that I paid for an overpriced filthy hotel. The issue was not anything other than filth. You can have a hotel that is needing to be updated and still maintain cleanliness.

Clean and Convenient

My 9-day stay was very good. The daily cleaning service was unexpected but appreciated. The Breakfast Bar was clean, well maintained and the food was beyond my expectations. Only WIFI was a challenge, I'd attribute this the current upgrades the hotel is performing. Bottom line, I would recommend the Fairfield and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

This was a very run down experience! Not the normal for a Fairfield! The floors was dirty and the bottom of the wall where dents and beaten to where the was piece of wall and loss drywall type stuff in the floor as well. The bed had a big deep hole in it! Room 412
