"Exceeded expectations especially with their breakfast, and it’s a good thing given that we came when so many other places were “closed for the season.” I do wish that we were told ahead of time that this also applied to their indoor pool, so that was disappointing."

"We can’t express enough how much we loved our stay at The Golden Slipper. From the moment we arrived, we instantly felt relaxed. The campground itself was amazing—peaceful, quiet, and exactly what we were looking for.To start, both the host and the property manager were wonderful. Communication was great, and check-in was an absolute breeze. The cabin was cozy, clean, and very inviting.One small tip: we recommend bringing bottled water, as the cabin runs on a well system.The location is perfect—close to Mount Rushmore and many other attractions, which made exploring so convenient. DoorDash does deliver to the area (it just may take a bit longer), and we were even able to have groceries delivered the same night we arrived.Overall, this was a 10/10 experience. We would absolutely recommend staying here and will definitely be coming back!"
