Wonderful stay. The hotel is well maintained and the rooms were comfortable. They had a wonderful selection of teas and coffees in the room. The community family room had games and hot drinks as well. On-site restaurants are quite pricey for what you get so we drove into town several times to eat. The ice skating cost $86CA for a family of four.

My husband and two children first stayed a the Château 37 yrs ago in the summer. We decided to return in another season. As beautiful as lake Louise is in the summer/fall, it is absolutely magical in winter! Granted temp -35 was not what these Arizonans anticipated but the staff at the Chateau was so welcoming, so pleasant, helpful and warm! We kept saying how beautiful everything was. Waller Stube restaurant was a bit chilly but the fondue hit the spot. We started at the Fairmont Jasper and are now at the Fairmont Banff Springs finishing our Canadian winter odyssey. Great memories to add to the Canadian experience. Thanks Fairmont!
