The lodge itself was very clean and cozy. The shared kitchen and living area were very tidy, everything you need available there. The staff were also very welcoming and friendly! It was very affordable and it felt like a home away from home. Whenever I get the chance to visit Canmore and Banff again I will definitely be booking with Basecamp lodge!

The location is convenient however the parking lot is very tight and the hotel backs onto the train tracks. Overall this hotel is fine for but I doubt I’d stay there again due to the noise.

Great location

Our third time back at the Lodge. We love the location and large rooms. Only issue was our fireplace didn’t work. We were looking forward to sitting in front of it with a mug of hot chocolate and it wasn’t to be. 😢
