The room in the Quality Inn in Doral is infested with roaches. The staff agreed to cancel my reservation and refund my money due to ‘standards that did not meet expectations’. The dates of my stay correlated with the snow storm in the northeast. As a result, I was unable to find another hotel since all were booked. The staff at Quality Inn did change my room. I did not see any roaches in the new room, and I couldn’t wait to depart from that hotel. I never opened my suitcase and left it unattended. I did not want to bring any roaches to my next destination. The hotel is filthy and unkept. Not recommended to anyone.

Where to start...we arrived later in the day so we dropped our luggage and went for dinner...but when we returned we realized how bad it was. The sink did not drain, there was an odd smell. The lamps were rusted and the kids saw a roach running across the end of the bed. My wife's feet were all bit up overnight. I went to the front desk to ask for a different room and they were not accommodating. I asked if they could fix the sink at least and the front desk staff said they could try to get the repairmen to come, but the maintenance guy might not come because he isn't paid enough. Considering that they were charging $197 USD/$276 CDN, it was definitely not worth the money. How they keep their Quality Inn status is beyond me. Do yourself a favour...don't stay here.

Ouff la chambre était degueu … nous avons trouvé une bebitte je sais pas laquelle tout près du lait en poudre de mon bébé je l’ai jeté… j’ai trouvé un Q-tips salé des occupants avant …lorsque je vous ai écrit le directeur était tellement en colère qu’il est venu frapper sans arrêt à 8ham pour nous mettre dehors vu notre plainte et notre désaccord … il nous a laissé 15 minutes pour s’habiller et partir et nous a pas laissé déjeuner même si on avait payé la nuit du jeudi au vendredi …

Everything was horrible. Room smell. Furniture was old. Bed sheets had stains. Bathroom was not very decent to even shower, showerhead was rusty and dirty. I had to cancel my reservation same day. I got the clerks cancellation paperwork and approved by the manager to get my refund back. Please if I can have my money back and I have approved cancellation from the manager I would appreciate the help

I arrived and the front desk was a disaster at check in time. Did not pay attention to what they were doing, seemed indifferent. Deposit process seemed more invasive than other hotels. If I am giving you my card, the front desk needs to be gold standard not second rate. Location and room: it was good value. In terms of safety, someone late into the night put a suspicious flyer in the door, for a very low rated restaurant, check online once you get this flier... I was warned about this before coming here, so I was prepared, but the fact that someone can just walk up to the room like that, and it is exposed to the outside, after the experience I had at the front desk, makes me never want to return. Is there any security? Cctv camera surveillance? There are many areas for improvement here, even with minimal investment and constrained budget, more should be done to improve this property.

Black mold everywhere, our door didn’t lock properly, cockroaches, pretty sure the towels were already used because they had who knows what on them, stains on the comforters and sheets, floor was so dirty that our brand new socks were black within the first hour, peeling paint everywhere, rust everywhere, door frames and mirrors falling apart, beds were only Full sizes which looking back yes, they didn’t say they were queens but their pictures made the beds looked bigger. We tried to find another hotel but apparently it was right when a huge game was happening so every hotel we called was fully booked. The staff seems very bothered when we checked in. The pool was very dirty. It had bugs and leaves and dirty floating throughout the entire thing. We didn’t even want to get in it. We were also told that there was a airport shuttle and a continental breakfast which were the two main reasons I booked there and once we checked in we were told the shuttle only runs at certain times and non were in the early morning so we couldn’t use that and the breakfast also wasn’t served in the early morning either.

The rooms didn't match online. The room was disgusting. The laminate floors weren't clean and our feet with socks on were black. We could feel the springs poking through the mattress and we had to slam the door shut before we could lock it. The towels had other peoples hair on it. Obviously I refused to use them and lucky I brought my own Beach towels to use. The airport shuttle a joke. We waited 2.5 hours before we decided to order a lift. Never again will I stay here. There was nothing else near by for us to stay at or else we would of left immediately.

Staff were very rude the whole time. Didnt tell us we needed to pay cash for shuttle to port. Atm was broken. Shuttle ended up being over an hour late and when we werent sure if they were going to show, I was denied a refund. Very rudely mind you. Next time i will take an uber. Also, the rooms werent what they said they were. No sofabed. No soap. Limited dirty towels. Poor pressure in shower, barely working ac. Just an overall unpleasant experience.
