Not sure if there was recent construction but the room was clean but not crisp in finish. Half the room was just empty with no seating besides a desk/office chair. The trim around the door was not sealed and I could see the hallway through the opening so I didn’t feel very secure in my room.

The lady at the front desk and the man with the gimp in his walk seem very racist. Upon me checking in I paid the fee for my stay and my dog. The man who checked me in asked the reason for coming in town and I told him my sister had a baby and she’s bringing her to see me. I get into my room my sister comes up and her boyfriend parks the car. He came back in asking for directions to the elevator. They questioned him on why he was there and who he was coming to see then said we don’t want any illegal activities in the hotel. Not to mention even after me and my boyfriend checked in he went back out to walk the dog and when he came back in they questioned him the same way like they just didn’t see us together in the lobby while they got our room together because the first room wasn’t cleaned. Never again! That gave racist vibes. Because yu see black people yu assume illegal activities yet yu never questioned any other white guest

There was urine all over the floor in the bathroom. There was hair all over the bathroom and on the beds. Neighboring rooms did not respect volume late at night, after midnight. I had to keep the volume on the tv up enough for my children to not hear the extra correctives that were going on. We could smell marijuana throughout the whole floor.

When we first got there we were given a room but asked would we like a room on the first floor close to the door. We said yes but wasn’t told that it was dogs on that floor right across from us. So we had to deal with a lot of barking. Then housekeeping did lousy jobs of cleaning the room to where I had to go and ask them for a broom and rag to clean the counter top. The day of cleaning they mop the floor but didn’t sweep the floor. Also one day a lady from the front desk came and knocked on my door to tell me that it’s no cooking allowed and it was food that I had bought from my auntie house and warmed it up in the microwave. Just accusing you for stuff and not even truly knowing. On top of they didn’t pick up trash every day.

The room wasn’t all that for the money paid it reminded me of a motel very low budget the room could’ve been cleaned better there was a stain on one of the beds and the mirrors looked like they cleaned it with anything smudges all over no bugs so I guess that was the plus would I go back highly unlikely
