Great Place

We were travelling and decided on an early evening and rest. It was just what we needed. Clean, quiet, great beds, and so relaxing. Nice restaurants and many things to do nearby, if you were so inclined. Great breakfast was provided in the hotel.

We were greeted warmly when we arrived. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The crown jewel for this hotel is Annette, who serves breakfast and treats everyone like they’re a VIP. The only improvement could be in sound-proofing in the rooms, as you can clearly hear people’s conversations out in the halls.

FIASCO!!!

I don't know if the problem was with communications between motel and hotels.com but they had one room and said I had checked in already when we arrived. They gave us a key for a room but there was someone's luggage already in that room. They gave us another room which was empty. Then I find out someone called my house some 300+ miles away to tell my wife to get my stuff out of the room???? I hope this is investigated and find out what and how someone used my name to get into the room I paid for. The ladies at the front desk were very nice during this whole fiasco. The TV system needs some serious work as half the stations were blank. I don't know if we were being forced into a pay for view system but it didn't work.

There was not anything unique about the property. But the staff was very polite. And, the cleanliness of the property was immaculate. Now the breakfast was lackluster I was very surprised that I didn't see any yogurt to go with the granola. And I prefer waffles over the pancake maker.
