Room cleanliness was not a priority whatsoever. Found some previous guests pill box full of prescription medicine easily accessible to young child to find and open, found dirty socks from previous guest on floor of bathroom as well. Could easily tell room was not vacuumed nor mopped. Morning staff did not seem bothered by my complaints and facility manager refuses to return my phone calls.

The staff was friendly and accomodating. Check-in was easy and effortless. As for the cleanliness of the rooms, that is another matter. 1. The floor in our rooms had not been vacuumed. As a matter of fact, there were large red stains on the carpet. 2. The bedding was stained. The mattress cover was stained with what looked like Kool-Aid. You could tell it was bleached to remove the stain, but it looked very dirty. 3. A couple of bed skirts were stained with drops of blood and never replaced. 4. The microwave and refrigerator were covered with handprints and grime. The interior did appear to be clean. 5. There was a chest in one of our rooms that looked like it was bought at a garage sale. It was marked up, scratched, and looked like a child has marked it up. 6. The headboards were dirty. In one room, the headboards had handprints and other "stains" from a previous guest. The beds were comfortable and after making cleaning adjustments to the room, we felt better. The attention to detail was lacking.

The night staff member by the name of shaye was not helpful or nice. There was an error in the system and he said he could not do anything. I had reserved through Travelocity 2 suites for a two night stay. It appeared that my reservation was for one room and not the other. After verifying your reservation, I see that only one reservation was made by you before arrival. Upon arrival, the front desk person informed you the same. Being weekend we were sold out for saturday and availability depended on cancellation. Hence he made a new reservation for the 2nd room for 1 night checked you in. Staff was friendly and attentive, property generally well maintained and clean. The shower was the worst, most unsafe I’ve ever encountered, and the coffee with the breakfast was also the worst I’ve ever had. The TV channel choice was also terrible and there was no channel guide of any kind available, either written, or on the TV / remote. 41 no name random channels you had to surf thru to see what there was - nothing worth watching.

Check in was easy and fast. However...elevator was very dirty. The rooms were okay...not as clean as they could have been. Phone didn't work to call front desk. Called from my cell phone to ask for towels. The lady at the front desk said we had to go down and get them because she was the only one working. When we went down, we were told we couldn't have more towels until we brought down the used towels but we hadn't used any towels. We just needed a couple more towels because there were 5 of us...not 3. There is no central air so if you choose the double queen suite, like we did, be warned that whoever gets the queen bed that's in the separate room, will sweat all night. No air. Will not choose this hotel again.
