This was our first stay here. Staff was friendly and helpful. We had complimentary breakfast. Unfortunately, we didn't get there in time to swim but the staff accommodated us with a room change to the first floor. Will definitely stay again!

Our stay at this hotel was great. It was a very quiet place and the breakfast buffet here had a lot of variety and it was very tasty. The country style atmosphere of the place was very calming and appealing. There was a lot to see and purchase in the nearby shops. All in all my wife and I would recommend staying here if you want a good nights rest. We will definitely come back here again.

There was a family reunion. They hung out in the Atrium right outside our door. There was so much noise. So much. Yelling, screaming. We go during the week at this time of year for an annual girls trip.we always stay in the Atrium rooms. It’s such a peaceful place. I was disappointed that Essen Haus allowed this commotion and the gathering in the Atrium. They had a conference room, so it seems that large gatherings should be confine to that area and the pool area. We paid good money to stay at our favorite hotel. It really affected our trip. We couldn’t even use the Atrium it was so packed. So disappointing. I don’t think we will chance that again. I’ve never had that experience at any hotel.
