"This is an exceptional hotel. The room was nicely updated, the staff was friendly and the breakfast was good. I especially want to mention the breakfast room attendant. She was very accommodating and kept items stocked and the area clean. She was friendly and very personable. Overall, I highly recommend and we will probably stay here again. "

"The cabin is beautiful and very well appointed. All of the beds were very comfortable and rooms beautifully decorated. The management responded very quickly with questions before and after we arrived. We thought we would mention that the road leading to the cabins in the area is a one lane gravel road with one semi-steep climb, but it isn't heavily traveled. The exposure is due west, so certain times of the year (mid-March is when we stayed) a few hours before sunset the sun is pretty intense coming through the large windows (the only window coverings are in the bedrooms). The view of the mountains is pretty amazing after the sun falls below the treeline."

We also loved the outdoor living space, which made it easy to enjoy morning coffee and unwind at night. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. While the cabin isn’t perched high in the mountains, we appreciated its convenient location. Being just minutes from downtown Blue Ridge made dining, shopping, and exploring effortless—no long, winding mountain drives required. The back porch faces another cabin, but it still felt quiet and private.Another big plus: there are wonderful wineries just a short drive away, making it easy to enjoy tastings and scenic afternoons without venturing far.Overall, this cabin offered the perfect blend of comfort, charm, and convenience.
