"The entry steps were not shoveled- only someone’s previous tracks were there to follow through the foot of snow. The heat downstairs was not sufficient- the main areas of the house were not able to be enjoyed as the temperature remained at about 60 degrees (f) the whole stay. Thank goodness we had good heat upstairs in the bedrooms. Host never responded to VRBO contact or the cell phone number that was given. There were no checkout instructions provided in the house or online by the host, so we did what we thought was best."

"Absolutely wonderful stay at this cabin in Mt. Desert, which served as our home base for many Acadia adventures. Perfect location, views and vibes. Ended every day with a dip in the oversized hot tub overlooking the lake. If you’re in the area, I can’t imagine a more perfect location! And as a bonus, the hosts were beyond kind in returning multiple items we left behind. No hassle whatsoever. "

"This is a perfectly cozy romantic spot in Acadia NP. Enjoyed our stay so much! Acadia is a very busy place and it is so nice to end the day in peace and quiet surrounded by the exceptional views out every room! All the amenities necessary. Host had great suggestions for hikes that were away from all the crowds. Would stay stay again in a heartbeat."

I would recommend this stay to anyone wanting to be near Acadia but not near the tourism of Bar Harbor. It's truly a secluded, quiet yet convenient location."

"This place was perfect for my sister and I to celebrate my mom’s 75th birthday. The three of us really enjoyed the space and view from the backyard as well as the convenient location to get around the island from Acadia, Southwest Harbor to Bar Harbor.
