Needs a lot of work

The hotel looked great on the outside and lobby but the room was very small and not updated. Desk had cigarette burns on it, closet door was broke, light burnt out, remote taped up, tv had only 6 weird channels and stain on carpet. The bathroom was updated and nice. It was clean, just beat up. Heater in first room rattled so asked for a different room and was moved. Get what you pay for, but still!

There were people smoking outside all night and we could hear them talking. The towels looked dirty but smelled clean. The clock had not been changed from daylight savings time which was a month ago. The plug ins didn’t work so I couldn’t charge my phone. The people at the front desk charged me twice and told me that I would get my money back but I haven’t.

It will do when necessary, but outdated property and bizarre staff. Rooms facing the highway seem like you are sleeping in the middle of the interstate. Really needs an update to remain viable in the market.

Are you kidding me?

What can I say? I stay in 6-12 hotels a year around the country and this was probably the worst ever. We were coming into Madison at midnight and leaving at 7:30am, so I went with a lower priced hotel. But I had no idea what we would experience. First we arrived and no one was working in the lobby. Secondly, they were "overbooked" so instead of giving us a room with two queen beds as confirmed, they gave us two rooms with "queen" beds...although I think they were full beds. The guy at the front desk ran my credit card SIX TIMES even though the second room was comped. (Accounting issue had to be cleared up in the morning) Thirdly the rooms were cramped, with horrifically mismatched decor, stained bed sheets and towels, square pillow sizes not regular, a cable box precariously balanced on top of the TV, a bathroom with yellowish standing water on the floor, crappy painting throughout, a tub handle and faucet that pulled out from the wall, and the most disgusting showerhead I've ever seen. My wife refused to shower in the room. It was gross. I have stayed in my fair share of super high end hotels, resorts and a LOT of Motel 6's. But this was the most disgusting. If you decide to crash in East Madison even for a quick sleep, pay the extra $10 a night someplace else.

Perfect Concept ! Needs A Refresh

It was a good location other than right next to the express way. Rooms were perfect size for a busy schedule. Beds comfortable and a fair enough breakfast. The concept is great but the rooms need to be refreshed, the carpet taken out and easy to clean flooring would make the place perfect! There is a workout room and laundry facilities for guests. I don’t think the rooms need a small microwave or a safe. Very friendly staff, rooms cleaned daily!
