Run, Don't walk from this place! Don't be fooled by the good reviews. They are probably for the newer timeshare on the property. We expected a lovely, modern room, and a relaxing experience-unfortunately not in Hotel Hell. Terrible service by uncaring staff. Excuses for every problem that has clearly been there for years, maybe decades. It seems the place was built in 1974, and "remodeled" in 1994, nearly 30 years ago! There doesn't seem to be any maintenance going on in the rooms. They are so dated and frankly bizarre. Look at the pictures of the bathroom and the bed. Just above the bed, there are cement dolphins that stick out several inches. If you try to sit up in bed to read or watch TV, you'll hit these hard surfaces and they hurt! The shower/tub is far too deep to step over. There was a leak and black stains in the ceiling of our bathroom (mold?). Every time someone flushed a toilet or took a shower in another room, the sound of the plumbing was SO LOUD. When the wind blew, the sliding doors banged very loudly, and the front door sounded like a train whistle. There were huge gaps in the weatherstripping, and everything is well past its useful life. A manager came by and said there was nothing they could do, but promised us an upgraded room. After checking the other rooms, they said all the rooms were noisy like that, and moved us to the ground floor. That room had the same issues. We paid for an ocean-view room and got downgraded with no compensation!

The property was 200 yards from the Pacific Ocean and about 1/4 miles from the Marina of Sea of Cortez. You could walk to town for shopping or eating in 10-15 minutes, or stay at the resort for great food and enterainment.

This is a lovely affordable all inclusive resort on a private beach. The staff are outstanding and are so kind and friendly. The food is great, the bartenders are great, and the location is fantastic.

It was quiet and safe. I liked that it was close to downtown. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I wish there were more activities available. I felt I had to leave the resort to find things to do. I would like snack options available: nuts, chips etc. Thanks,

From the moment you get there you get hounded by staff to attend a “free breakfast” / sales pitch for the modern version of time shares, a woman literally ran after us when we told her we were in a hurry and were going for to the parking lot and while trying to exit the property a man flagged us down to stop with same intention of taking us to the breakfast. Also Sunday morning while it was still dark around 5am the staff at the restaurant near the pool put loud music that you could hear in the room and couldn’t sleep after that the music never stopped and it was just for the staff because there was literally no one else in the pool or restaurant area, having a room with a pool view near the ocean turned out to be a nightmare
