"Lovely quaint Manhattan hotel"
Truly enjoyed our stay. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Room was small but clean and pleasant. Would definitely stay here again. Favorites were the excellent coffee and the shower!

"Amazing Hotel"
This hotel is great. I was apprehensive about staying at an independent hotel....boy I was wrong. The hotel's location was excellent. It is in the middle of Times Square. The hotel is top notch. The rooms are beautiful, roomy, and clean. The decor is updated and fashionable. They have a a free continental breakfast included every day 7 am until 10:00 daily. They have an assortment of cereal, danishes, fresh fruit, yogurt, and the best fresh bagels I have ever had. They have a daily wine, cheese, fresh fruit and snacks available every day 4:00 to 5:00 pm. Coffee and hot chocolate and snacks are available 24 hours on the 2nd floor. The staff was outstanding. They were attentive and so friendly. I have found a hotel that I will be calling home every time I visit New York. The name of the hotel.... The Pearl says it all. it is fabulous in many ways.

"On the Upper East Side"
The other reviews were accurate: the sound proofing between rooms is a problem. Once the 5 girls on the other side of the wall departed, my room became quiet and was extremely comfortable. The location is great but without near access to the subway system. Superb for access to the medical centers in the area.

"Quietly upscale hotel on Upper East Side"
We stayed as a family of 4 in a room with 2 queen beds. It was very spacious ( actually enormous for NYC), very well appointed, stylish, comfortable, and quiet. We received a bottle of wine compliments of the manager- a very nice touch. It is not a tourist or party hotel, expect well-off middle aged crowd in designer attire. But no snobbish attitudes were ever detected in any of the stuff, everybody was extremely warm and helpful. Cafe Boulud, adjacent to the hotel, lived up to its excellent reputation, but was rather pricey ( no surprise of course). Affordable and family friendly dining options in the immediate area are limited ( and they are generally not really affordable by middle-American standard), but the main commercial strips of Upper East Side ( Lexington and 2nd) are 3 blocks away with many casual and more reasonably priced eateries. Many of them deliver too. The location is beautiful( think 1890s architecture) and quiet, short walk to the Central park and the Museum Mile, walkable to Upper West side ( Museum of Natural History and other things). We even walked to the Lincoln Center and back ( about 20-25 min each way), but after dark it is not advisable to cross the park, so you'll need a taxi. It is not really walkable to midtown attractions. Hop-on hop-off bus lines stop a few blocks from the hotel, but as a means of transportation to midtown they are very very slow. Overall, would stay again, if couldn't find comparable options on south end of central park

"Great hotel in a perfect location"
My family and I spent four nights at this hotel and our experience couldn`t be better, with the exception of the restaurant. We all four fit in one room (two queen size beds). The room was very clean and beds were specially comfortable. The location of the hotel was simply perfect. Our only problem was at the restaurant, where it took an incredibly long time to have breakfast.

"Nice hotel right off Times Square"
I thought this was a great hotel! One block off of Times Square, but surprisingly quiet and restful! The rooms were small yes, but it's Manhattan! Good for a couple but I wouldn't bring my kids here. Very reasonably priced. I will definitely stay here again!

"New York Trip"
We had a great time in New York. There were several items that did not work out as we had hoped, but, overall a great trip. The plane was delayed over an hour on take off. However, the airlines texted me to let me know which was appreciated. W had stayed at the same hotel on our last trip, but, this time, the room was smaller, no desk, no refrigerator, and biggest problem of all was no internet. I am a mortgage loan officer and even when on vacation, I work an hour in the morning and an hour at night. The hotel made no allowances or suggestions for help. Because of the weather and location, there was no internet easily available close by. I had picked our seats on the airlines both directions prior to departure. Going out, no problem. Coming home, the Airlines had changed our seats and we were not together. The Airline boarding person made us check one of our carry on bags at an additional cost and considerable time and hassle. The return flight pre-board was very unfriendly to several travelers and made several check in bags that they regularly travel with.

"Christmas in NYC"
Langham Place is a wonderful hotel. Great location for visiting local NYC sites. We were able to upgrade to a suite that was wonderful for my family of 4. The extra bathroom and bed was great. Complimentary soft drinks and water were a nice surprise. The entire staff was helpful from recommending local places to visit and eat, to arranging transportation to airport. We have nothing negative to stay about our stay at the Langham Place

"Would stay again "
Staff very friendly and accommodating. Bed was extremely comfortable. Shower was awesome. "Patio" nothing to write home about. Great location for what I wanted - Grand Central, Bryant Park, Rockefeller Center, etc. Room could have been cleaner - the carpet didn't look like it had been vacuumed for weeks. Overall, nice stay.
