Continuing my trend to leave a hour early and explore a place I haven't stopped at before I decided to find Van Hook Falls. So I found the trailhead, at the intersection of 1193 and 192. What the trailhead doesn't tell you is you need to cross the street and take that trailhead. The large sign I read made it look like I was heading the right way. So, if you stop, make sure to cross the street. I wasn't disappointed, it was a great hike. I hiked about 2.5 miles in and found a lake. I also was hiking next to streams the entire way. I was hoping to find something pretty for sunset, but it didn't pan out and I wanted to get back to my car, it was 27 degrees after all.
