The front desk staff was excellent. The location is 5out of 5! Room was great and clean. The only thing subpar was the breakfast: Not hot, and small a selection. But the location.

Good place to stay with plenty of walking paths. Had a little tavern and restaurant. I had a nice flight of Bourbons. Lodge is very rustic. They still have the timer heater in the shower. A small shopping store inside next to the check in counter.

The property needs to be updated severely. The lobby furniture was truly uncomfortable due to its age and condition. Outside of rooms view is obstructed by debris from trees and weeds. Needs some clearing out and weed eating.

Beautiful scenic views from the dining area and all the rooms. Makes you feel like you are a part of the outdoors when you are standing on the balcony. The trails are right there. The Natural Bridge is so close. The food was good. Most of the staff was friendly. The young girl at the front desk doesn't seem to have social skills, but everyone else does.

Kind of gross
I rented a cabin but they double booked us. So put us in a room that I didnt want. Then got to the room, and sheets were dirty and shower was gross. Its nice there are a few trails very close by, but the trails are pretty short so dont plan on spending the entire day hiking.

Natural Bridge State Park Resort is a very nice place to stay. Room was clean and comfortable, dining at the restaurant was very good. Many hiking trails close by and do not miss the hike to Natural Bridge. Also took the Gorge Underground classic boat tour. That was a great boat ride in an abandoned Limestone mine. I would definately return.

The Hemlock Lodge is a true gem, steps away from mutiple hiking trails. Our room was clean and comfortable, staff was helpful, and the breakfast included in the stay was perfect. Thank you!

Beds seemed super clean which is always a must for me. The floors were so dirty, every time you get into bed, you track up stuff from the floor with you. Our A/C would not turn on. Mold in the bathroom from vent not working. We did love the area and walking trails around the property!

Beautiful location with hiking right outside your door Restaurant right on site with a decent menu and good food Nice little bar that just reopened that has an impressive bourbon selection and a great guy behind the bar I look forward to making another trip back there in the summer to take advantage of the pool and other amenities

The location of the property was a plus but every thing else was nasty. Our room had paint peeling from every where. If the person in the room next to you was using the toilet or running water and you were in the shower you would scolding hot water. We had ants coming up out of the drain. The only good thing is it’s not far from any hiking trails.

Like most KY state parks the facility is a little dated, but the staff was helpful, the breakfast was a good adder, the location was central to lots of trails and activities and overall it was a great choice at a good value.

The night employees weren’t very helpful! They didn’t tell us where we should park to be near our room. I finally asked and the person said I was waiting for you to ask. I called front desk because we were only getting one channel and she says I really don’t know the answer so I asked well can you ask someone and find out and she says well, if you’re only getting one channel then that’s all you’re going to get. The TV wouldn’t show full screen either. On a positive note, it was very convenient for the hiking there. The rooms are a bit old and no microwave but clean. There was a constant running of the bathtub faucet and even with the door closed I could hear it all night.

The cottage was cute, but the smell of smoke from the uncleared fireplace was so strong that it kept my son and I up most of the night.
