A Great Hotel in Many Ways

Clean and beautiful hotel. Comfortable and friendly. Love that we can bring our small dog. Location is perfect for our travels between Florida and Michigan.

In the evening we played cards in the lobby and all of the chairs had a nail stick through the upholstery. At first we thought it just one chair then we started checking several and all were the same. We made the desk clerk aware

The bed, pillows, and couch were comfy, and the room was well-equipped. The bathroom and living area were roomy. The continental breakfast was 100% yummy, with friendly staff and something for everyone (go for the Belgium waffles). The outdoor pool had chairs, tables, loungers, and towels. The only thing I would change would be to lower the A/C when you first come into the registration desk. Brrrr. Like a blast from the Arctic! But not a deal killer for this lovely, well-kept hotel. Close to the Interstate but not too close for noise, close to filling stations, and close to town for wonderful restaurants (Wrigley and Seasons, also 100%).
