Lovely place to stay spotlessly clean, i stayed in room 14 with private shower room excellent ,serviced daily 24 hour reception staff friendly and helpful tea coffee making facilities tv with good reception, would stay again good value for money, room 14 on the front which is a busy main road so a little noisy at night if window is opened thank-you

Basic but cosy.

It was a basic hotel but it was perfect for a weekend away watching the football and taking in Walthamstow's breweries. The room was near the top of the hotel and there was no lift so be aware that you may need to walk up a few flights of stairs. There is no air con but the room had a ceiling fan which took the edge off a very warm evening. The room also had a fridge which was handy. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast is on offer but I did not partake.

Late arrival, early checkout

Room was presented well and warm. Clean towels. Bed had lots of black hairs under the covers abd had clearly not been changed from previous guest. Arrived late so slept on-top of covers and left straightaway in the morning. Very cheap so wasn't expecting the world but would like clean bedding as a minimum.

The cozy room was perfect for travellers that just need a place to stay overnight. That said, the small wardrobe in the room was not anchored to the wall and would topple over onto you when the door was opened. How is that acceptable?

Unlikely to revisit

The website indicated that limited parking was available but nowhere does it say it had to be booked in advance. Luckily they managed to find a rather tight corner for our car. The room, although clean, was very small with the double bed pushed up against the wall. It is highly unlikely that we’ll visit Walthamstow again and the hotel would not attract us back which is a shame as we found a very pleasant tapas bar in the town which served excellent food and wine.
