"Peaceful Relaxing "

"Almost perfect experience. Spacious room. Pleasant and efficient staff. Comfortable pilliws and bed. Nice little bar. Good quiet location not far from beautiful old central Bardstown and bourbon distilleries. Good hot breakfast (better on weekend). Well appointed rooms and bathroom. No place to hang uo towels but they were replaced daily. No elevator but only 2 floors. "

"The views are stunning! Love the idea of a converted container. Great space! It rained for a majority of our trip so the no-wifi was rough. We had a hot spot with us but connection was spotty. The rain generated A LOT of mud which made things a little messy since we had to go out a lot to walk our pup but host was responsive with ways we could try to manage the mess. Would love to visit again in the summer as having the river right there was really cool!"

"A group of 12 HS friends (couples) from Missouri and Northern KY spent 4 days at Simmstown Manor enjoying bourbon tastings, horse racing at Keeneland and the culinary cuisine of Chef Gwyn. This was the perfect location for all of the activities and the Manor, situated on acres of beautiful rolling bluegrass hills with frolicking horses and gorgeous scenery, could not have been a more fitting setting. The home is period-perfect but with all the necessary amenities that make it an easy place to relax and immerse yourself into the beautiful southern Kentucky charm. We have already decided to return. All of the rooms were lovely and so many charming places to read and cuddle The meals from Chef Gwyn could not be matched- just incredible. Thank you for this getaway gem"
