The room was very far from the front desk and the breakfast area was just as far. There was only one parking area and one entrance. This was very inconvenient.

The Holiday Inn is physically connected to and is part of the Crowne Plaza. Your GPS or Waze app may take you to Crowne Plaza instead. There was no one at the front desk when we arrived and we called the phone number for help but someone came along. No staff at the front desk is not uncommon. We went to the pool at the Crowne Plaza - just walk over a long connecting indoor bridge - Holiday Inn keys don’t open the pool door. Luckily someone let us in. Pool is nice and you can do laps. Hot tub appears to be dead. Our electronic door lock mechanism was broken and falling apart. Our keys stopped working after one night and we were staying for 2. Very inconvenient to walk back to the unmanned front desk to get the key reactivated after walking all the way to our room. Breakfast is weird. Also at Crowne Plaza and not free for Crowne Plaza guests. Very confusing and if you just want to grab something to go quickly - good luck. Holiday Inn was probably very nice when it was new but now it’s on the way to shabby. Ceiling in our bathroom was peeling all over. There must’ve been a flood. Wall paper was also peeling because of it. It definitely needed work. I wouldn’t stay here again.

The Holiday Inn Express was actually 'Closed'. I was not notified by the hotel nor by travelocity in advance. I found out after parking the car, and walking quite a distance from the car to their front door in the pouring rain, to read a fairly small sign on their door. They were providing accommodations at a nearby hotel. That check-in went smoothly at the Crowne Plaza.

they were not at all understanding or even helpful to simple request; adjoining rooms, tubs instead of showers. totally dismissive and harsh. wont be returning. definitely not a kid friendly hotel.

The hotel was fine for a quick stay in Princeton. The layout is unusual - a little labyrinthine. The pool seems to be located in the neighboring hotel, to which this one is attached. I had to walk probably 1/3 mile to get to it from my room.

Great

Pros: Late check out
Holiday gave me no trouble when I called and told them I was checking in late.and was very accomadating when I asked for a late checkout the next day. My daughter had an interview and wasn't going to be available to leave until 4. the late checkout (2pm) allowed me to hang at hotel instead of hanging in a fast food restaurant for 4 hours. So thank you.
