"The room was clean and comfortable, the front desk staff were helpful. The parking is terrible and full all the time. We had to park far away on the other side of the hotel a number of times. The keys stopped working 3 times during our 2 night stay. The food at breakfast is not good, and there was ZERO servers on the second morning (the first day server was amazing though). We were delayed at check in by 2 hours - our rooms hadn’t been cleaned, even though the people checking in before and after us received a room immediately. We didn’t complain and just went and got food instead. This is the first time I have had serious issues at a holiday inn."

"The appearance was initially off-putting…50s era motel in the main drag …but it grew on me! It’s been updated with fresh paint and the rooms are roomy, well-appointed, with good beds, good towels, Hulu, nice regional decorations. Bathrooms are remodeled with good water pressure and great shower head. There is a hot tub in a pleasant outdoor area. Other outdoor access is limited and close to the road but such is the design of those old motels!"

"Great location and the property and rooms are maintained immaculately. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The rooms are very nice and very quiet. Differently recommend this hotel. When we are in Durango again, we will be staying there. Way better that any of the chain hotels."
