The only issue we had was the lack of choices and quality of food.

Didn’t get a warm and welcome feeling. Had higher expectations being it was in the park. Room was ok, presentation was nice, but floors were dirty and bathroom smelled like urine. Everyone I encountered from check in and check out, to restaurant greeter and waiter in Metate Restaurant, seemed like they were just doing enough to do their job. Which was fine, but it was just ok.

Our room was clean, the beds were very comfortable, and the view was spectacular! I would not recommend this facility to families with children, particularly small children, as there is little to entertain them. No cable TV, the WIFI is slow, and there cellular service is spotty at best.

Thank you so much!

Room had back door with broken door knob so would not close properly and opened during wind at night. Was a cold night. Dirty used bandaid on floor along with hair. No shower gel or shampoo. Asked next morning for additional soaps from housekeeping and had to go to desk for supplies that evening. Housekeeping came in and made one bed and left the other mussed. Overall room was not great. Much smaller than the pictures portrayed. Took the tour, our guide was Holly, and this was terrific. Restaurant was very good and staff very friendly.

Mesa Verde

Pros: Location.
Cons: Staff ratio, had to wait a while to check in. Due to staff helping people plan.
It was nice staying in the park as we were that much closer to the site we wanted to see. Rooms were nice, but very crowed. Need a hook on the back of the bathroom door for towel or bathrobe. Hook provided was not reachable from the shower. Doors all needed some work, sticky.

Great place to stay in a National Park at 7000'

Pros: Staff and Tour Guides were great. Good Food, and beverage service. Very accommodating
Cons: Wi Fi and working phones in the rooms
Location: Mesa Verde Indian Ruins in Colorado at 7,000 feet. Took 4 hour tour of the ruins with great guides. Met my family from NY there. Wonderful time.
good staff, no phone service no cell service, no internet connection. Troublesome

Location, location, location!

Pros: Closest you can stay, to the sites. Awesome views everywhere, especially the rooms and the main building.
Location: Easy drive to the sites, trail heads, and viewpoints. Cliff Palace is a great tour. Stunning views everywhere you drive.
This is the only hotel within the Mesa Verde National Park, and it is so much easier to stay here rather than outside the park! The restaurant and lounge are nice, with great views. The rooms are adequate, but small. If you can't live without tv, this is not the place for you; there are none. I loved it. Phone in the room did not work; I loved it. Wifi was fine on cell phone, but very spotty for calls and texts; I loved it.
